Flamenco

Flamenco interprets the concept of "deconstruction" where each element of the floor lamp appears, at first glance, distinct and unencumbered by the others, as if it were a body in itself. As for the bird whose name it evokes, (the flamingo in fact, flamenco in Spanish), the individual elements find equilibrium when they are put together. The overall effect is harmonious even in the "disharmony" of the parts. A Crane of Light Grus takes inspiration from the elegant and slender bird – which also gives its name to the small constellation – of which it recalls the characteristic pose about to take flight. In the floor lamp designed by Alberto Saggia and Valerio Sommella, the slender linearity of the body stands out in space, in perfect and geometric harmony. Floor lamp with off-center light point characterized by a slender geometric structure made of painted sheet metal. The load-bearing structure is divided into two parts pivoted one on top of the other, held in tension by a metal cable that runs parallel to it, fixed to the rhomboidal base.
